Sorry for the lack of updates guys! Been very caught up with school recently :( And also because my life is so mundane I can't even be bothered to bring my camera out, then I'll end up using my iPhone and posting everything on instagram! Just spent the whole night rushing on my work yesterday, but thank goodness my lessons were in the afternoon so I still got 2 hours of sleep in the morning.

Haven't posted on my ~fangirl journey~ in Seoul, sorry! I'll cough up the post when I have time, I promise!

CNY wasn't as happening as the previous years, my family decided to sleep till 3pm before we leave the house hahaha! This explains why my red packets are much lesser than last year too. At least I got to spend some quality time with my family after so long.

Lesson in the morning, chill in school in the afternoon and Greta's place in the evening tomorrow, stoked!

Fly to Seoul

At Changi Airport! Forgot to bring my plush monkey along (yes I know it sounds very stupid I know) and I was sooooo sad.

Transit at Hongkong airport. Was so disappointed with the airport ngl, since they're like the top airport but their service sucks and thus the queue moves like a snail. The plane sucked too, sigh.

Finally at Incheon airport! I rented this wibro egg at the airport for 8000won a day. Oh it's a portable wifi device btw! Pretty worth it since the internet is really fast and I can use it on 3 devices at the same time (including laptops and phones)

The things there are unreasonably expensive.

Naengmyeon at Myeongdong! Their naengmyeon is really nice!

It was freaking cold and it was nice of KBS to set up a tent for the fans outside, but it was still cold.

It was late and this was the only taxi in sight. He offered a price slightly higher but we were tired, so we just hopped on. And who knows, making this decision changed our whole trip. We found out it's a sasaeng taxi (in short, they're not normal taxis, they stalk idols 24/7) and he brought us to places idols always hang out at! And it wasn't too expensive!

Hoping to go to Korea for a two week fangirl trip the coming summer, but it depends on how much I'll be able to save up by then!

The first few pictures were taken candid! I was being stubborn not wanting to walk up to see some traditional korean thing and my aunt was laughing snapping the pictures...

Right now it's over 12am in Seoul and it's officially 2012.

I'm sitting in the hotel, watching gayo daejun (it's a year end music festival). It's my last day in Seoul, and I will miss everything here so much. The weather, the food, the shopping and even the fangirling. I have so much to update on, like my experiences hopping onto a sasaeng taxi, spotting idols or the good food and crazy midnight shopping I've done over the last few days.

On overall, 2011 was good.

Getting into a school of my choice, meeting new people, learning new skills. This has also been the year I spent the most money with all the constant shopping throughout the whole year. Hopefully I'll manage my time and money better next year, and be less absent-minded as well.

Some loots from this week.

Had a good kbox session with the Jiemin, Vivian, Evelyn and Jessica earlier on, unleashed the crazy asshole in me, hahaha! Brought my dslr and I was joking about leaving the memory card at home, then I only have a memory space for 4 more pictures left. How unlucky.

Flying to Korea in less than 48 hours time, gonna spend my Christmas and New Year there as well.

Finally a getaway, some shopping and 10 days of chasing my idol (the yellow guy in the video below)

Still in the midst of packing, still deciding if I should bring my Dr Martens, boots, or both.

This is seriously the first ever pair of shoes that I can walk in for one whole day. Even my Litas, I walked from Lasalle to Dhoby Ghaut and felt like chopping my feet off. Meh sorry I'm not a heels person at all. But Lana is so comfy and stable, well it's kinda heavy though. Felt like I was wearing elephants on my feet when I was climbing the stairs.

Just made one (picture on my instagram widget on the sidebar!) and it tastes so so only :( it's too dry. The box says (no I can't read japanese so I read the pictures hahaha) add bananas for better results. Gonna try someday, and maybe I can try adding chocolate chips too!

Went for a picnic with Kaixin, Sara, Ian, Li En, Aaron and Nick yesterday, at Marina Barrage.

Sunburnt the hell out of me. The sun was scorching hot and we only had 2 small umbrellas.

So now I have sunburnt arms and two patches of sunburnt on my thighs. Yes, patches, hideous patches T_T So next time if you're going to Marina Barrage, remember to bring a sunblock just in case.

I made the mac&cheese and mashed potatoes! Felt so accomplished!

Hi guys, this is a *inserts post title* so those who dislike kpop you might wanna give this post a miss...

As for those who are interested! I had a busy week, following Super Junior, queueing for MAMA and suffering from withdrawal symptoms :(

So on Monday, we were followed SJ! From MBS to Raffles City, and it was worth everything!

Kind Jiemin offered us to follow their van, and of course I did!

And this is the first time I had such a scary encounter with an artiste's manager. HE. IS. FREAKING. SCARY. With his glare he can scare all the fans off. And while I was trying to snap a picture of Eunhyuk, he just pushed my camera into my face. Seriously traumatized.

But owell still managed to get some pictures!

Didn't manage to snap Hyuk's face. He was wrapped up in this plaid shirt and his mask, with messy hair. Which means he didn't shower before leaving the hotel. AND his blonde hair is like dry grass. Looks tangled, LMAO.

And the next day was MAMA!

Even though I'm not a fan of Girls Generation, I've to say that Yoona is legit gorgeous. Like flawless, damn it.

Just came back from buying things I could possibly DIY this holiday.

In the list

Anyways, I know many people are looking for those studs for DIY. Here's some lobang for you.

If you're looking for poke-poke studs like these

You can get them from the Cheeks Enterprise, 03-19, Far East Plaza. It's around $2-$3 for 10 pieces.

Quite affordable I guess?

(It's next to Funk Deco, level 3 if I'm not wrong)

And if you're looking for iron-on studs or screw-on spikes,

You can find them at Brighton Accessories House, People's Park Complex #02-1098.

It's ~~quite~~ very pricey. The spikes range from $1-$3 for one piece. I got 20 spikes at $30.

But the spikes are really different from the studs I got previously, it's heavy and you can tell the quality is obviously much better.

The iron on studs were quite expensive too, I think it was about $2 for a packet of 5?

MEH, SO EXPENSIVE.

I've heard my friend that there are shops at Peninsula plaza that sell studs too, but I've never been there.

Hope this helps, for those who're keen to get studs for DIY! ^^v

Assessment is finally over! After spending my project week rushing work in school and two whole days without sleep just to finish painting my 2d final, finally it's over. I've never ever worked this hard, even during O levels I would study till 4am and go to bed. It calls for a celebration, which the shopping I did today.

Was in a dilemma whether to buy the baggu bag or not. No because I'm not a fan of Baggu's canvas bags, yes because I need a plain black backpack and so far, I haven't find any suitable ones. Still got it anyways, not done studding it. I need more studs, and a wider variety of studs. Does anyone know where I can buy spikes for studding?

Shopping again tomorrow, even though I'm already broke... Have an eventful week guys! <3

It was the last day I think? Was disappointed that our ccs lecturer didn't bring us there the other time :(

Dip-dyed shorts

So this is what I spent my whole day doing; dip-dyeing my shorts!

Ombre dyed shorts are all over tumblr, and a pair costs at least $30-$40. I've even seen some USD$150 ones. So I found some old berms in my dad's wardrobe that he has already grown out of. They're a tad too loose for me but I can always use a belt.

Got the fabric dyes earlier this week and finally got the time to dye the shorts!

Cut and frayed the shorts.

I used a penknife to cut the some holes below both pockets on the front of the shorts, and some at the back pockets, then I used sandpaper to fray the holes.

You can get the Dylon dyes at Art Friend. Ngee Ann City's outlet have a wide range in my opinion. I got mine at the Bras Basah one and they have mostly the ugly colours like what, terracotta brown, LOL.

My first attempt is obviously a fail.

Dyed the lavender first, and I forgot to add salt!!! No wonder I left it there for like 30 minutes and it's still white... Then I remembered I didn't add salt. Ah never mind I'm gonna get another packet of lavender and re-dye the middle part.

I dyed the shorts, a muji tote and my baggu. Both the tote and baggu failed so bad hahaha. My muji tote shrunk till it's like half the original size LOL and I should've bleached the baggu before I dyed it. SIGH D:

Couldn't take a picture of the finished product because 1) it's not finish since the lavender isn't obvious 2) gonna stud it, hohoho 3) it's still wet hahaha I just rinsed it with cold water and left it in the kitchen to dry.

I have tons of DIY I wanna try! But I really can't find time. This week is the crucial week before our assessment on the 21st, gotta rush on my assignments and my A1 canvas that I've yet to start on. Good luck to myself, sigh. And I hope I get at least one reply for the jobs I enquired for.

Happy (belated) Halloween guys!

Dressed up to school yesterday, as an evil red riding hood, or aka "Red Riding Kok" as quoted by Kaixin -___- Some people even asked when I had my hood down "So you're a dracula today?" DAMN IT NOOOO I'M NOT *wears hood* "Oh... red riding hood". I think only 1 out of 15 students bothered to dress up. Kinda sad though, I was expecting like half the foundation level to dress up :(

Haha I couldn't find a real "hood" so I just grabbed a child cape from Toys 'R' us and wore it as a hood.

Had chocolate and their RIP red velvet. The red velvet was so heavenly!!! Would totally go back for that again, but they only have it on certain days of the month.

And we went shopping! Thanks to my iPhone's maps (love it) we finally found our way to Actually Actually! Been wanting to go there since some time ago, but I never knew where Purvis street was, and neither did I knew that it was so near our school.

I can't wait for school next Monday! Already decided on what to dress up as (it's a secret hehe), but I seriously think I'll fail the make up part. All I know is throwing loads of blusher on my face and brushing my lashes with mascara, lol.

Oh yes, that iPhone4s. Killer. Queued from like 7am till 4pm? I left around 12pm though, had to rush to school for submission, my Mom continued queueing. Even skipped my 9am lesson just to queue. Finally met up with Chang again today!

Lunch at Astons specialities (cheapshit what) and we walked a long long way today.

Had to film some videos for MIS, so we climbed the long flight of stairs all the way up to Mount Sophia, wandered around and ended up near LASALLE. Wtf I was super shocked, I never knew that it leads to Mount Sophia if you continue walking after the junction near Art Friend. Then we walked and walked all the way to Ion and to somerset again. MADNESS.

My weekly routine: school on Monday to Friday, Saturday being my retail therapy day and Sundays are for catching up with schoolwork.

And my Saturdays are like pouring-money-away-days. Two weeks back I spent like $2xx at Topshop on bottoms. And I bought a backpack from a preloved online store and it was said to be mailed out on the Friday two weeks ago, I've yet to receive it + I OPTED FOR REGISTERED POSTAGE.

Why does this things always happen to me...

But well, on the bright side... little miss blackberry fan is gonna give the 9900 a miss and I'm gonna get the iPhone4S when it releases in Singapore! I seriously can't wait. I said I wanted to get an iPhone3gs, I ended up with bb bold 9000. I said I wanted iPhone4, I ended up with bb torch.

2) Topshop Topman AW11 Launch.

Topshop was super packed during the VIP shopping!

The Topman models! Low quality pictures because it turned out really dark, and I had no choice but to edit them brighter.

The goodie bag we received! Contains a small bottle of water, a Topshop purse and a pair of Topman shades. I believe it's just some items they can't seem to sell out.

Went to the Topshop Topman AW11 launch yesterday!

Very unfortunately and coincidentally, me and Ivory wore the same prints! I wore a cosmic maxi dress and she wore a cosmic top. Super embarrassing but we couldn't do anything to help it.

Well on a lighter note, I kinda like some of the pieces from AW collection, especially Topshop's! If only money grew on trees I could use some of that to splurge on the gorgeous apparels. Also saw a few really cute coats that goes into my contemplating-to-buylist for the Korea trip at the end of this year!

Still, the best part of the day was going back to Topshop/Topman to chat with the old staff there. Like Fifi, Aidil, Syuhadah, Amy, Linda, etc. Aidil was super handsome in the plaid shirt!! I miss all of them so much, even people like Will who always teased me by calling me emo -_-

Yesterday was a surprise, even though we already knew the surprise before-hand.

Had MIS in the morning, lesson starts at 9am and I woke up at 8:50am, which explains my pale face with minimal make up. Well the overall reason causing me to oversleep was because I slept at 5:30am, rushing up on my 3D wire head.

Okay, so here's the surprise.

We were supposed to go out of school, to Mount Emily, BAREFOOTED.

The sun was scorching out there and we were supposed to walk like few kilometers without shoes. Especially while crossing the road, the ground was soooo hot we had to scream and run across!

On the way back, we grabbed Old Chang Kee, icy cold drinks and guava to nom on! Also cheated and washed our feet first, even when our lecturer clearly told us not to.

It was pretty fun though, a new experience of walking about without shoes o_o

Spent the day in school doing work yesterday!

Accompanied Marisa to some class rep meeting that was apparently a waste of time, then stayed all the way till 9+ to finish up some 2d work.

Love the hat!! Costed me a good 60 bucks :( and everyone was staring at me when I was waiting for the bus.

Getting uglier day by day, sigh.

Oh and, love the lip balm I'm using!!

If you're wondering, it's Clinique's chubby stick in chunky cherry! I have another one in whoppin' watermelon but it isn't very visible since it's a light shade of pink.

Current favourite shoes! It was kinda tight at first now after wearing it several times, it's really comfy!

Watched it the second time, and this time we screamed like maddd + we brought lightsticks ahaha.

I am so broke now I spent like $130+ at H&M. It was actually $170 but I only brought $150, so I had to give up the brown bucket bag :(

Pink ponies

Hi guys, I dip-dyed my hair pink yesterday, like finally! Been wanting to have pink dip-dyed hair since some time ago and I finally bought the dye and did it myself!

1) Aluminium foil

2) Hair bleach

3) Wella Koleston violet mahogany dye

4) Lolane cream developer

5) Brush

After two bleach cycles, this is how my hair looks like...

I was afraid it'll turn out quite dry and brittle, so before I started dyeing it, I washed my hair and applied hair treatment.

Then I applied the colour and left it for 30 minutes before rinsing them off in warm water!

And voila, pink dip-dye hair!

Quite satisfied with it, since it's exactly the hair colour I wanted! A little magenta, a little fuchsia and not too bright as well! However my hair so feels very dry and damaged, I guess that's normal since I bleached it twice?

If you're curious, I followed the tutorial by Free People!

And today in school...
Only CCS lecture in the morning because it was only half-day at school!
